Chase Cancelled My BP Gas Card

I used my BP card for my fuel purchases because they offered a 5% rebate which amounted to $500 to $600 cash back each year. Last week they sent a letter stating that they were cancelling my account because they said the card was to be used for household purposes only, even though they never indicated that anywhere. My wife and I used it to buy gas. So I call to redeem my remaining $490 rebate and they said since the account is closed the remaining "points" are forfeited. Bastards. To those of you using this card for your gas and the rebate, beware.

Thanks Bob. It's really aggravating to get ripped off like this especially after paying $4 a gallon all summer. I bet they are doing this to a lot of people to wiggle out of paying rebates.
