Looks like 3 to the tank. Also looks like one of Johns units. Instead of the correct diameter from the blower to the tank he uses the smaller hoses. Claims that's all that's necessary.

Don't understand the logic on the three smaller 2 inch hoses as the unit does not need load as it is not producing heat for the heat exchanger.

I would redo the blower to waste tank connection and open it up.

Should be a good unit.
