when you have to replace the check valve ...go with the Parker hydraulic valve

2000 PSI...

Stainless steal poppet

can with stand very high temperatures

cost is about $24.00

you should never have to worry about it again...

when mine went out I was having temp and pressure problems....

But, it's water flowing through that valve and not Xentherm oil, right?

correct.....it feeds the water line to your solution hoses and tools........

As I understand it, in this application, it prevents hot water from flowing back through the HX.
If you were to install the $24 valve backwards, you'd create a BOMB.

I try to keep my truck as clean as I can but it is not like I am pulling all the light covers and wiping down the bulbs....

you sholud not have to clean it out..But if something gets stuck in it just take it off and flush out both sides...
