Diaphragm. That's why that ball valve on the 870 and 2500 are nice. Order 2 when you get them. Because as much HP stuff as you do you'll need it. Out to be a 10 buck fix

Check valve the keeps water from reversing into the HX

1/2 inch swaglok check valve coming out of e2 exchanger is bad, replace it and good to go.

On the Butler it can be the Chem injection pump diaphragm with a bit of wear or hole but I have also found the pressure regulator can cause this trouble too

If you get this one from windtrax......you will never ever have to worry about it again...thats what I put on mine...
