Cimex machine questions...

Thinking about purchasing a cimex. Already have a brush pro but it's not that impressive for encapping. Looking at a couple of commercial jobs. How does the cimex work?? Is it easy to use?? Do you use brushes or pads or bonnets?? How many sq ft can you go on 1 tank of solution it is it better to use another sprayer like a pump up? Thanks

Easy to use hard for one man to load and unload. Its not so heavy as it is awkward.

Yes. We use soft brushes to agitate area rugs prior to cleaning, bonnet pads to give heavily soiled CGD that extra breakup, fiber pads for general cleaning.

How many sq ft can you go on 1 tank of solution it is it better to use another sprayer like a pump up?

Its going to depend on the level of soiling but 650-850sq/ft. ???
Pump up would be more for an OP machine.

1. Push it like a lawn mower
2.Yes
3.All 3 depends on job, personal preference is brushes for long hairs, pads for scrubbing CGD and bonnets for a final pass or after HWE.
4.Around 2000 sqr ft maybe, depends where you set the solution valve and how many passes
I train 3/4 and 2 passes for encap

Cimex works great on encapping cgd. On certain piles it can leave swirl marks. Plan on buying a ramp also. I use excellent supply beige micro fiber pads for encapping and releasit ds2. We use the shower feed on the cimex for applying the product.

Tremendous encapping machine. It's worth owning if you do any sort of meaningful commercial work.
