I’ve run my Cimex ALOT this year.
What do I need to do in order to keep it running properly?
I’ve got 2 used machines, and they’ve done their duty. It’s time to give them some of the love they deserve.
They are not acting up in any strange way, I’m just concerned they will fail me when I need them most....

Clean the three ports regularly.
Be aware of belt or bearings wearing.
Do you get strange concentric circles on the carpet??

I’ve got another 3 jobs booked for VLM. The machine I use most has the big boy wheels, after market silicon grips, new pad drivers, and a pig tail. I run either a 50’ 12 AWG cord, or a 100’ 12 AWG cord.
Wipe down the cord to get the crust off
yes, that is done after every job. Beyond that?

What are you asking pig breath for? He knows as much about maintenance as you know about pig feed.

Speaking of which my 4 year old Mex has a cord that looks like it came off a Kirby.

My 20 year old Mex has a cigar for a cord.

I have a job coming up that the 4vyear old was blowing outlets left and right..

I'm wondering if the beige pads might draw a tad less power compared to the agressive browns..

I got a video of me tearing the whole thing apart somewhere it's pretty interesting if nobody's ever seen the inside of a Mexit would do your good justice to see how it really works

I'd like to see that.

Heading out shortly to do some travel agents stores in a shopping mall, regular clients with the 'Mex;
