Jim pemberton got me turned onto clean free about a year and a half ago and it still amazes me. I use it as the prespray and the rinse. Picture right below text was last night. 17 year old carpet, hasnt been cleaned in 6 years, pets, kids, and the customer was flipping out because "it looks like new".

Thanks to " The Jim Pemberton"

its safe for stain resistant carpet, and I find that because its an oxidizing cleaner that it brightens a lot of the dingy traffic lanes up a lot better than a normal alkaline cleaner does. I have a lot of customers who like the No scent factor, and the fact that it has no harsh solvents, and can be used on most upholstery.

I buy mine threw Pembertons by the pail.

That stuff looks similar to Procyon Plus powder. Procyon is a soap, detergent free cleaner also. I have been using for awhile now. The main diff that i see is the Procyon is a green solution. The interlink web site didn't say if the Clean was.
Do you know if it is a green solution?

Looks good Scott, From the MSDS it should be safe on the metals of the TM.

I have used procyon before too. It's similar in being "green" It cleans great, i'm just not too sure about procyon rotting out my waste tanks over time. (phosphoric acid)

Im serious about this stuff (clean free) it can be used as a prespray and a rinse, Its cheaper then dry slurry, its safe for 5th generation carpet, its alkaline, it reactivates residue from previous cleanings (customers diy machine) without adding even more soap, its safer for the operator, and it brightens the carpet.

Acid side rinse, Flex ICE - IT helps clean, it can be used on natural fibers, it dissolves really well, and can have deodorizers added to it.
I also use fab set - Fine fabric rinse, compatible with deodorizers, and encapuguard for those jobs where you think wick back can be a problem. (cleans wands up really well too if you soak the head in a bucket with it per dillution, greasy splash back dirt wipes right off)

If Jim Pemberton suggested it, you know it's got to be great. I tried a 6lb jar about 6 years ago when it first came out. My tech said "he wanted a cleaner smell' so we went back to zone perfect, although I think I will give a second swing at Cleanfree and give it another chance. Thanks for sharing your feedback Scott.

I use it on things you would never think it would clean and they come out great.
I do carry flex powder for the really bad jobs, especailly where the grease is impacted into the carpet, it does not perform well on impacted grease.
I used to run a ton of zone perfect but didnt like that it foamed some, and the fact that its terrible to clean up if you spill any, or mistakenly switch chems but not your metering on your inline sprayer.

Do you use it on wall to wall wool?

Can you add citrus, oxy, or deo when using it as a prespray?

its for light to medium soil levels. like I posted in my pictures.

oxy, no it already has an oxidizer, deodorizer yes,, citrus I wouldn't as I have never tried that myself. but I can say that it takes care of a bit of grease on the restaurants I clean.
