Clean three staircases with the Oreck orbiter today, for the first time ever..

Not the best test is the carpet was packed it down over 30 years of museum traffic but it did get rid of the spots.

The Phoenix some sagers and some top spot sure did a nice job of it though..




I was there a few months back for a presentation and noticed all those horrible spots and told them I would clean it in the main hallway up at no charge since it's a non-profit turns out they brought a crew in and prepped about 5,000 ft of hallways three staircases and countless display and meeting rooms, so I just went for it...

With a little added weight, (cheap, 5lb ankle weights found @ WallyWorld, one on each fork), it makes a decent stair encap tool.
Quality encap juice and spotter, it does the trick…

Spray encap juice W/ pump up.

Blue brush first, THEN cotton bonnet.

I did a sculpted one similar a few weeks ago.

What I don’t understand, is how is that comfortable to walk on a daily basis with no shoes?
