Cleaner showed up and refused to clean up his foot prints

It’s unbelievable to me how lazy some cleaners can be. This last minute job came in because the other cleaner showed up and told the customer he refused to clean up his hose and footprint marks that he tracked in. The customer quickly sent him packing. @Matt Wood. Mats, corner guards, and booties are not just to put on a show.

We get the 20 foot runners and cut them down into 10 foot length.

Easier for us to handle....

And it's no dog an pony show....

It's protecting your butt too.

Sometimes, people will get lucky walking from a carpet (that you even just cleaned) to a hard surface....leave a big old boot print....and then get lucky that their prespray or moisture didn't damage the surface and just left a clean spot....

That you now have to clean the entire surface at your expense (and time) ....

Or worse....

You did damage another surface....

I bought some foam underlayment for vinyl tile. Looks pretty similar but wayyy cheaper. $35 for 60 foot x 36in wide I believe.

we use the moving blankets from harbor freight and just throw them away when they get worn. Dare you to walk in a house like this without floor protection.. 9,000sqft, entire main floor we are doing 3,000sqft of tile that is no longer made. Had to account for 2.5hrs of prep to tape all the baseboards, and mask off all the polished stone we arent cleaning.
