New facility....

Elderly facility that just opened. I did a tour of this place in another thread while back.

I am fortunate to be the cleaner and go to guy for the 2 major facilities they have in town.

The surface around the pool had a lot of construction debris and sheet rock dust in it.

The contracting company brought in a cheap clean up crew from out of town. This is the second call for cleaning up after them at this place.

This is an epoxy floor with rough surface made by BASF.

Some rep told them no spinner tool...ok, hard surface tool was way easy anyway, and the tool of choice I would have picked.

Brush agitation ok and recommended....Check :)

Used white brushes on the small CRB.

Used some of our Harvard carpet clean chems diluted in half....

They say you can use Simple Green, so looking at the MSDS of simple green....we had no problems using a better cleaner.

Here was the pool the first time I saw it this summer.

Did the prespray.

Set the psi for first test at 800 psi, then backed down to 650 psi. Did the trick fine.

Could see a nice difference in person once dry.

Why didn't they want the turbo used? Just wondering why the wand would be a better choice over the turbo with the brush ring on it?

One of their reps for the flooring surface told them no spinners.

They supplied a guide to cleaning (which did not say to not use a turbo) and I followed that so no problems with a warranty.....

And no problems for me.....and notice I have video following procedure to the best of my information provided :)

Kind of like the designer home Mikey and I were in while I was out there in February....

Wall to wall wool carpets and some wall to wall wool with silk....designer said not to use any vac with a beater bar.....

Well, Mikey told them incorrect, so I did the vacuuming while he did some other cleanings and repairs...and I blew the bag right off the vacuum since it had never been beater bar vacuumed in the past 2 months of it's existence with 2 large dogs....etc....

Everyone a designer (expert) and no one really doing any real world cleaning to verify their cleaning guides.

They were probably trying to prevent someone from using 4000 + psi from a spinner that would probably tear it up used by pressure washing companies.
