Chemdry that is.. not meant as a bash thread but I cleaned this motel unit 2 wks after local franchise.
Carpet is solution dyed nylon approx 12 months old, lots of petroleum based soiling in relatively easy to clean carpet.
I presprayed with solvent boosted prespray 10 min dwell time no agitation of any sort (boo hiss) then extracted with acid rinse. Not a lazy tech from Chem... as owner operated franchise no employees.
Im sure there are franchise members past and present lurking what did he do wrong or is that an acceptable

outcome? Trying to learn not mock, although franchise did say I had clearly damaged the carpet
p.s. I did the strip on the left

Just imagine if you had red padded ..

Looks tons better though

Polysorb only Chem Dry hold outs amaze me, but it's understandable

So Chemdry told them that you damaged the carpet?

That was ungracious of them.
Yeah I wasnt there to clean units but do small spill in owners residence, after I removed her spill she told me that they'd been in 2 wks prior. So I gave her quick demo in 1 unit, $40 a unit 24 units total and he was onsite 6hrs.

This is a polyester carpet pre sprayed scrubbed with black brushes.

I would like to see a 175 lift pile like this!
No the 175 wont lift pile like that, but I got sick of the callbacks on poly "can you come look at my carpet" yep it's flat again! I break there heart 1st time around now and break out the brushes more for pet dander issues

15 minutes per unit?

What was he doing, sprinkling holy water?

I did an apartment over s bar yesterday that had a flat area that was black. Had to hit it twice it was so bad. New bar owner was shocked it looked so good.
Cleaned the crb today and the brushes still smelled like an ashtray. Still soaking now.

yea, you'd hate it even more

the pile raised in Sam's pic left side will look just like the right side 2 hours and 37 minutes after the family gets home from work and skool....

..L.T.A.

So it’s still looks pretty when I’m done!

I didn’t create non crush resistant carpet!

My CRB works wonders on it, but only if it has enough face fibe to even stand up!! The low end stuff stays flat even with a CRB. I just take in my 175 with aggressive pads. Green usually.

Even worse are the cheap cut pile olefins. They are usually a very, very light tan, or even cream, almost white. Of course they were sold as bullet proof. Stain resistant etc.
