Cleaning Poly Tanks on Portys

How do you clean the exterior of your portys??...Soap scum killer with agi and then wipe it down with water or window cleaner has worked ok for me...


Man White tanks should be banned on portys...I guess you need to see the water level though....they get dirty after a day of flippin using them....

After you clean it good, you can armor-all or wd 40, the next time you clean it it will clean up easier cause the scum can't stick directly to the plastic

If its all scratched up you can take a hand propane torch and lightly go over it with a flame and wet

terry cloth. Then armor all it when your done it will look new. Just don't hold the torch too close or too long in one spot.

I have a blue materblend machine and i use the wd-40 on it and it looks great. the torch does work to fix scratched up areas. i have done it. just be careful not to overdue it.
