I follow the Bob Valter school of blower cleaning.
while the machine is running, run "clean" water thru the blower.
!!!CAUTION!!!..add it SLOWLY, don't just dump a gallon in all at once, or you'll break something on the blower
you'll see all kinds of brown mudgunk come out
then let it run for several minutes to dry out.
a shot of lube like WD-40 or equiv when dry
WAIT A MINUTE!!
note, if your blower exhaust goes to any heat exchangers, DON'T use the Bob V school of blower cleanin.
cause you'll fill 'em with gook if you do
