Since my Recoil is still at my house, I decided to do a test. This time I cleaned the carpet in my family room (cut-pile, beige). The carpet measures 9’4â€Â

Seems like a lot of wasted time when you could be spending it watching Na scar.

"Is it possible to do a test like this with a TM?"

I s'pose with a fresh water tank you can.
Drain the tank and start with a measured amount of fresh water.

Clean a couple/few rooms then drain the fresh tank again to see how much water you used.
Then measure the amount in the waste tank to see how much you recovered.

" How accurate would it be?"

Guess you could make it fairly accurate if you were careful about measurements.
Like parking in the exact same spot for every drain, fill and drain.
(so you won't get variances in drains because of driveway grades/slopes)

Otta be able to get pretty close to a good read of recovery

Bring your TM over, Brian.
I'll put some .45 inch holes in the bottom of the tank for a good drain, if you want.

I'm a "quiet" guy.
But you might wanna bring your ear plugs.....

repeat test with 100' of hose.

btw: was that a glided 802, which glide?
And you said 2" tubed wand, right?

In general, what was your procedure, what psi, and how many wet passes and dry passes?

On drying test, I like to flip the numbers, and look at it like this:

You left 1.5 gal of water in 150 sq. ft. of nylon.

How long til you could cruise around in your socks?

btw: thanks!
