Professional applicators of ALL fluorochemicals need to be aware that it is

the fluorochemical that you don't want to aerosolize, and breathe into your lungs.

Water-based or solvent based.

On commercial spraying jobs, I would wear a respirator for both types.

If I were an upselling master and selling it on every job, I'd be wearing a respirator when applying it.. Letting the homeowner or commercial customer know that I'm exposed to it everyday.. It'd be a hard sell on some jobs though cuz you can't please them all..
