I would have to disagree.

Our UV power meter shows more power intensity,

compared to the ax174.
Your light is great! Really well built! The warning about not tightening or loosening the front of the light is a little cheesy, these are being handed to techs that won't know not to do that. I don't have a meter but I have gone through homes with urine soaked carpets with both lights side by side. In my opinion the Cobb light has a much brighter focused light. This is great because from 10' away you can light up a spot easily. However if you are pointing at a spot right in front of yourself while standing the beam is so narrow that you can't make out much in the center of the lit area and are therefore using a tiny band around the perimeter to see the spots. This is better than any of the cheapo or mid grade lights I have had by a long shot! Your guys' customer service is top notch too!

The ax-174 puts out vastly less light in the center of the lit area but the beam is much broader and more even. It won't light up a spot as well at 10' but it is more useful up close.

We have beat the crap out of Cobbs light.. Still works, must be 5 years old now.. This new polyester garbage won't show anything with a light! You need the Hydrosensor and the light!!
