I've got jobs tomorrow and it's supposed to be 2 degrees in the morning. I'm pissed.

Just worked last week in AZ. In the 70's.

I said the above in the event something would happen to the truck so nothing freezes in the van. If your only worried about your pressure line freezing I would say go for it.

had a high today of a -9, right now down to -13. Last nights low -17. Had to push a Catholic Church back to Thursday as the high is "supposed" to be 22 above. I don't like to clean anything under 5 above zero!! But hey, 3 more months till Spring!!!

I'll work any day in any temp it gets here......as long as the customer wants me to still come. Usually it don't go below 20-25 at the lowest of lows at night here and it's usually a good bit warmer in the day. Usually well over 30. I was up in TN a week or so ago and it was 30 when we got in and it didn't bother me in the slightest.....not to mention it was barely snowing too.

I refuse to work in the snow. People here don't know how to drive with 1/2 inch of snow, and more importantly ice on the roads. If it snows I'll hang out in the Witness Protection Program before I drive here (I pull a trailer).

I came back from Spokane last night.

Left Spokane it was 5.... got back here it was 20.

Low later this week in Spokane might be -15 lowest here. about 18.

So I'm thinking I want to move back why?

Oh yes.. A few weeks of hell, for an early spring, and hot summer.
4 seasons.

Funny thing is, here in snohomish has more snow than Spokane.

zero with the sun out is a good temp to just say no.

Only cause I didn't know it was that cold.

0 to 5 for a day time high is when we start to think about rescheduling res
Easy empties (close/quick set-ups) we'll go out in as low as 5 below.

About 10 years ago we had -35 with wind chill. You could take boiling cups of water outside throw them in the air and it would be frozen when it hit the ground..

Look at that, you got wheels for the dodge.

Ya know it is cold when you can step outside with the stair tool, or wand and make snow by triggering the wand.

-27 degrees and -37 with windchill. It sucks! I am out cleaning today....I hope. Had the vacuum acuators go bad on the Butler yesterday. Knew there was a problem of something freezing and finally found the problem....I hope. Seems there was a crack or leak and sucking in cold air and moisture.

Stole another set off the other Butler and am keeping my fingers crossed. I was out testing them again last night until 8:30 pm in the cold. They were working. It is suppose to be cold all week and more snow on the way. The weather is kicking the crap out of the equipment and me.

Wish it would hurry up and get up to at least 0 degrees....

Later, I am on the road in 40 minutes for my 1st job.

I worked yesterday, a high of -5,with a wind chill of -36. no problems, just have to set up fast and smart, keep water flowing. The only issue I had was dumping waste water. The valve froze open, I had to close the doors for a while to thaw it out. I am fortunately busy this time of year, so rescheduling is not an option most of the time. Now, a blinding blizzard or having the flu is another story.

Currently 40. Cold for SoCal. But the sky is clear after raining for the past two days. It will warm up.

You can lay the solution line on the sidewalk and dink around and take your time when it's above 20 degrees and not worry about freezing.

I'm doing one overnight tonight and it will be -5 degrees. Moving water can't freeze. I still risk freezing up a bit, but I'll have a few things in place to limit damage. It's a risk we're willing to take to keep the regular cleanings on schedule.

I was driving over the continental divide, and had drank too much coffee so I stopped at a chain up area and took a leak. It was -13 with strong wind. I thought I was going to freeze my pecker off. It didn't freeze until it hit the ground though, that would have been a cool story. I guess if it was that cold I probably would have lost an appendage.
