First time running it down on lower pressure at 300 psi.
Cleaning well and going fast!

Which tool do you like better- The Shear Dry or the SS?
Advantages and disadvantages of both, please.
My impression from the very short time I played with the Shear Dry was that it flushed better than the SS tool (not even sure I am right), yet it slowed one down due to spraying out once not in contact with the fabric. Did I get it right?

Run most of my tools at 500 psi out at the van....
Adjust the upholstery tools at the tool
EDIT: 800-1000 psi on T&G....more on the lower side...and with the Zipper SS Super Spinner 800 a magic spot for my Butlers it seems

Actually, I have not pulled my SS off my truck since about June I think...
I like both tools...
the SS feels good too, cleans well, but sometimes leaves 2 lines in certain fibers....
The Shear Dry, feels better, and is easier to trim out certain things...and I think can sometimes flush better....I just end up going to that tool the most as I like how comfortable is feels for me...and seems to spread the water more evenly....but yeah...you can get sprayed if off upholstery if you have the water pressure up...
I just learned how to run the shear dry and got so used to it...I also like the hose better....the SS is just more rigid and heavier to me....
Both tools will not perform well if you DO NOT CLEAN The junk out of them...the shear dry has 2 holes the size of pins holes on both sides too I find if you don't clean, can cause some funky stuff....
So now that you brought this up...I am going to make a point to get the SS out on the next job and use it with the Shear Dry to see what I am feeling between the 2 units....
Both tools good...I just have been liking the Shear Dry more....lately

I liked the shape, although it looked suspiciously close to the Sapphire....with cheaper valve and trigger. I liked it until Ofer sprayed me in the face with it while showing me the stream that seems to shoot out beyond the vacuum chamber.
In my personal opinion the Sapphire is a much better tool. But if it comes to a budget, I'm sure a cleaner could make due with the Shear Dry. It's got to be better than that box cutter with the dial valve.

Bawb's wife has been a little ill recently. It's just drained him. 
He isn't feeling very bawb like. He doesn't always show it, but he is lucky to be emotional. Which is great when things are good but hard when things are a struggle.
