Quick update for all of you. having Disneyland next door makes getting good hotel rates almost impossible. I think I have found a good one but I'm waiting on the group rate. Extended Stay America offers more of an apartment feel.

It is two miles from the Boot Camp. You can walk to Anaheim Stadium and/or the Honda Center and next door you have the Stadium Promenade.

The Boot Camp without the Hotel is $750.00. This includes a continental type breakfast and lunch. If you want to find your own place to stay. I will get you a price including the Extended Stay America as soon as they confirm back to me.

If you have any questions call me direct. 714-833-1939

FYI--Anyone interested in registering....DON'T. If you have registered and haven't heard yet...I just found out and not through Rob that it's cancelled. Just lost $450 in airfare. I'm not sure what's going on, but apparently he just walked. The owner of Shamrocke Stone Supply is reimbursing me my regstration fee, thankfully.

Apparently Rob Fairfield.

This is the email I got today,

Dear Brian,

Hello my name is Amy McFeely, my husband and I own Shamrock Stone Supply. I wanted to inform you that we received an email from Rob with Stone Pro late Monday evening telling us that Stone Pro would not be doing the Stone Restoration Boot Camp. We received no other info. Our former employee Enrique left me a file with Boot Camp info in it. I see in the file that you had put down a $50.00 deposit for the class in May.

We will be happy to refund you your deposit amount and want to apologize for any inconvience this may have caused you. As we do not keep credit card info on file I will issue a check for the amount of your deposit and send it to the address we have on file for your company.

If you have any questions please let me know.

Thanks you,

Amy McFeely

I am still with Stone Pro.

Even on Mikey's Board you can't believe everything you read. While it is true the class has been cancelled, it was not a decision we made. Decisions were made by Shamrock that made having the class impossible. Bill and Amy have chosen not to be honest with their customers.
Decisions were made in Austin, by Shamrock, made having a class impossible.

I will not let my reputation be questioned or tainted by a class that can't deliver what we promise.

If Brian and the rest of the others that registered would have paid the full $150.00 to attend it would have been wasted money. Now they get their deposit refunded and don't waste the balance due.

I'm apologize for any inconvenience.

Rob

Sounds like a disappointment. A good name will overcome all obstacles, Rob. My impression is that you will, too.
