Holy crap! I think I may be getting screwed. I'm paying 2500 per year. That's for three vehicles but I wouldn't think it would be that much of a difference. Mine is through progressive.

Progressive was double state farm 5 years ago. Nationwide and Allstate almost as bad. It is going to vary area by area. Orlando is about 60% increase over what I paid in Ga. So you can't compare what others are paying. I thought $2200 was a little high for my son's GTO. My agent pulled up a quote for Miami and it was $6,000.

My liability policy is issued through the hartford with 5 million coverage and it's only $55.00 a month.

My comm. auto policy is $90.00 a month for my van & it also covers my cargo trailer. That is full coverage with 5k med pay, the most allowed in Oklahoma. I also carry uninsured & under insured. In Oklahoma, we have a lot of uninsured drivers.

Guide One Insurance is extremely cheap. They saved me over 2k a year.

yeah, I used to pay those rates too. I switched all my insurance policies (Homeowners, private auto, comm. auto, bus. liability, ) to State Farm and now receive a nice multi-line discount. Any time I've had to speak with them, the service has been tremendous, and you can set up auto-pay so you never have to pay by check again. Before I switched, I checked with Nationwide and All State as well. Neither could match the State Farm rates.

Ask your commercial liability carrier if you can ad your truck to that policy. I do, and my coverage then becomes the limits of that policy. You are covered with much greater liability and pay the same as regular auto insurance. 8)

My truck is like $600 and that includes $35,000 for on board equipment

State Farm is one of the worst companies for commercial policies. They do not specialize in commercial and have many exclusions aka less coverage than other companies.

There is an exclusion in there policy not to cover "what you are working on"
Therefore if you damage carpet they will not pay anything... Most companies will give up to $5000 coverage for this type of claim.

My girlfriend has been a commercial claims adjuster for the past 5 years and I have learned a lot through her.

hence the CCC coverage...

Care
Custody
Control

If your the "professional" why then should they cover you, unless its expensive pieces you work with...such as Rugs..

make sense???

its to cover your ass in case you or the worker does something "stupid"
