That's not true. How could they exclude a work related injury because you're self employed? The only way health insurance wouldn't come into coverage is if you have workers comp.

It may come down to proving it happened on the job. If you slipped and fell and were carried out in an ambulance, no problem. If you hurt your back lifting furniture but nobody is there to witness it, it may be hard to prove.

It is a yes and no answer. Best case scenario if you're gonna rely on your health insurance for coverage is to have coverage through the Marketplace here in the US because it's covered for sure under the affordable care act.

Im so glad i don't have to deal with all this health insurance crap you guy's pay for mine. Because I joined the coast guard in 1973 and gave more than 4 years(5years8months) and was honorably discharged. My gi bill gave me lifetime full medical and prescriptions everything except dental. Including eye exams and new glasses every 2 years. Because I live more than 50 miles from the nearest va hospital or clinic. Im allowed to have a local physician any can go into any local hospital of my choice If i choose to travel to San Francisco and use the main va hospital they will pay travel. Way back in 1973 when i enlisted i had no idea how valuable this benefit would be. So with that said please, keep payin your taxes on time and thank you for your support šŸ¤“

I wouldn't trust em for nothing!!! I have a friend, Viet Nam Vet, who used them as his supplement and they have him so messed up
they're gonna kill him! Even with a supplement and Medicare, he can't flick veterans off like a booger!!!!😔

Well the ole saying goes like this . 2 patiences go to the same doctor with cancer 1 dies and one lives. Is the doctor good , or bad? Depends on which family you ask. I personally have had great experience and a friend of mine just had a heart valve replaced by the va its only been a week but he also seems to be recovering fine so i guess there not killing everyone. Im very happy with mine. Unlike those that are closer to a va center and are required to only use va facilities, i live more than 50 miles away and im allowed to use private medical institutions. But for me i prefer the va over local care and travel

A saying comes to mind, "a broken watch is right twice a day".

And an observation, the human body is incredibly resilient. Despite all the insane things we do it, many still live 80 or even 100 years. A real testimony to the wisdom of our Creator.

I admit I have a very strong bias against the entire mainstream medical establishment..
