I've never cleaned one just to clean one.............

but I've cleaned hundreds (drywall turds, paint, and dust) to prep the for staining and always used a 175 and pressure washer/shopvac (didn't have vac trucks).....ymmv
I bet that i75 slings debris all over the baseboards or walls too.

Mopping 2000 sq ft of crap sucks. Drywall dirt isn't a big of issue for me as sawdust is. That's what plugs up the vac slots on the floor tools I have.

After getting the WM and these floor tools I stopped using the 175.

Now we’re talking. See, that wasn’t hard.

The only way a 175 slings anything is if you have a pad hanging 3-4in over the pad driver. Any of those combos work. I just treat it like vct. Not rocket science. And I wouldn’t be ashamed and I’m not to use my Bane as a wet vac. But I also use a Kaivic floor tool that makes quick work out of it.
