Bidding a concrete floor in a warehouse. About 11,000 feet of it. I won't have to move a thing.

What would you bid this at?

I intend to lay down chem, scrub with a rotary and extract with a Turbo.

Depends on the condition, lots of oil and grease or other hard stains?

probably between 25 and 30 cents/sq.ft.

I would rent an auto-scruber and see if it will give the results they are looking for. If so, you will get a much better production rate.

Regardless of the machine you use, get some ShoreBest 2790. You will be quite happy you did.

If you use your Turbo use the brush ring on it or be prepared to replace the white nylon ring on the bottom.

Make sure there is not heavy rubber buildup from forklifts. Your turbo won't remove it and an autoscrubber may not as well.

Last month it COST me $7,200 in fuel, labor, and chems to do 20,000sf with heavy rubber in 70%. It was covered in dust and I misjudged it. After running a propane stripper, then autoscrubber, 4000psi and 250F was all that took off what was left. It was very slow going.

We also just did 30,000sf loaded with grease in a train engine repair plant. 2 riding autoscrubbers and 2 guys took 6 hours cleaning to make it look new.

Not what you asked, I know.
