Looks like you need double tack or architectural tackstrip for it to work properly.

I seen this back in 2008-2009... Yep, plus you only get a stretch on however much the tackless strip can hold it... Nothing beats the power stretcher... Now if you want to build the ticket, you can offer the triforce stretcher type or the restretcher... With my pops being a flooring inspector, I get to see all kinds of problems... Do it right the first time, or do it twice....
