I don't get freaked out over the flu.
and that's what it is....It's just the flu , not AIDS or anthrax

sure, some folks are at risk of great peril more than others.
and I don't want to make light the deaths from complications related, but in a world with 7 billion people, the death toll is statistically insignificant of all the influenza pandemics of the last couple generations ('09 swine flu being the last big one)

the overwhelming vast majority infected get sick for week or two and get over it

GenPop deaths from complications would be less than getting struck by lightning

butt....if it does rise to what WHO or CDC considers "pandemic" levels like the Swine flu did (estimated 20% of world pop got it) that would be a 1 in 8 chance of getting it .

My youngest is always putting stuff in his mouth. It drives me nuts. My oldest is obsessed with touching my Magnum PI mustache. This crap comes here and the poop will hit the fan. You can"t trust any of the info from china, most have said add a zero the the numbers china is telling us. They wouldn't be shutting down an entire cities if the numbers they give are correct.

I agree, it's just the flu, but it's a new variation not seen before and nothing known about it.

Not worried, yet. But if it gets here(no reason it wont) and grows were screwed. Unless you have money to sit around for a few months, screwed. You know the phones not ringing. Kids outta school for weeks/months... Shoot me, please!
