Have you ever seen this?

Shes had us clean her cotton bound nylon remenent a dozen times on top of her wood floor. Usually the furniture stays on top unless we are cleaning the fabric sofa that visit.

No one has noticed that the cotton has been bleeding in a few locations ( got to be the pre spray)

Is she dosnt put a pad under it bu the next time we come out, I guess we'll blue tape underneath..

Can you take the rug to a carpeted area for cleaning then replace it with your protective plastic or paper underneath during drying. Also, maybe use a less aggressive pre spray.

No room elsewhere in her home.

Its wall to wall type carpet and often it one guy dking the job. The added time and hassle would have to be charged for. Her new dog is destroying the house and hubby is already pissed about the increased cleaning frequency.

Thanks. Interesting. It is a pretty wide bleed, why would the water get so much under if cleaning from top?

I never clean those on wood unless there's a pad, or put a plastic sheet underneath. I also try to avoid the binding, though that's close to impossible. The binding also soils and wears so unevenly and is damaged by traffic, so much more then rest of carpet.

I always make a point of it in the preexisting conditions that they sign.

I'm not sure Ofer, could be the home owner or maid causing it when mopping for all I know. She wasn't really pointing fingers, but just pointing it out.

Worth noting for sure...Blue tape is a cheap quick fix
