Get me into the encap and cleaning hardwood floors game? I have been wanting to get one and could justify getting one if it is a viable option for encap and hardwood. If its not a good choice then I just wanted to know..

Thanks

i personally wouldnt use a rx-20 for hardwood floors. a regular floor machine would be best. they do make a drive block for pads but wouldnt be my choice.

In my opinion the rx-20 would not be a good alternative to a regular 175 or a cimex or orbot.

It's not heavy enough for wood, and it doesn't spin fast enough. It's ok to prescrub floors with but it works best as an extractor.

A 175 is much cheaper. You could buy a Rotovac 360i and 175 and still cost less than a rx-20.....

We use the 'rx 20 for wood floor cleaning if we are just scrubbing with a red pad for a deep clean. if we are doing a recoating we use a rotary. We also have the tile attachment which is awesome

I would agree with the above the RX just doesn't have enough ass for heavy scrubbing.
