How long does it typically take you to dry a crawlspace ? How long with no heat?
Matt, No the dehumdifiers will typically stop working at a certain temperature. We prefer dessicants for drying crawlspaces . If one is not available then we usually add heatBut doesn't a basic, commercial dehumidifier put out some good heat, enough to raise the moisture level up enough to be taken out?
Mark, just chip out that 3' block of ice. Much easier to remove water when solid than in the vapor state.![]()
