If you dont take credit cards, you are not giving your customers enough options to use you.

I put this on my website...take it if you want it.

I know you didn't ask for a critique but one little tweak should sell the message just a little better by using even more emotion.

"We cheerfully accept credit cards" instead of "We also take credit cards"

Just a suggestion

why not just use the visa, master card logo instead of the text?

if they can't figure that out i don't want them as a client...

I've had the Visa/Mastercard logo on my business cards for a couple of years now even though I don't have a credit card machine. I've only had a couple of customers ask if I take cards, so I would have wasted hundreds of dollars in fees. Even my jobs over $600 pay by check.

If not taking credit/debit cards now you will be at a disctinct disadvantage plus have less upsell ability. Credit card paying clients will on average spend more so your avg ticket will rise and people want to use rewards type cards. I carry some cash for security but pay everything I can with credit cards.

There are so many options for taking them that are fairly painless, just check it out.

If you want to just take them every once in a while for cheap.
go to
http://www.Propay.com

Cost is like 60 bucks a year then a small charge on each transaction.
Takes a couple days longer to get the money but the price is right.

Oh and no credit check for the entry level. You can only charge $3000.00 per month and only $500.00 per transaction...but you can upgrade.
