Sanitaire makes good machines but I don't know about that model. I sold a customer a Sanitaire SC9180A DuraLux Commercial Upright and it lasted 3 years in his pizza joint. He told me that all previous vacs lasted 3 to 6 months. He ordered a second one when that one finally gave out and it's going strong.

Sanitaire SC899F Upright Vacuum This is the one we have used for many years but some people tell me it's now a piece of junk because the belts are good anymore.

Sanitaire makes good machines but I don't know about that model.

I never had a problem with them and we used them hard. The plastic is tough... dropped them down stairs and they were fine. So your guys must be very hard on equipment. Or they have changes something in the last 10 years... so if Doug sells them he would have an opinion I could listen to...

Top of the page makes you think it is CRI approved then scroll down to Certifications and Approvals and it says that it is not.
