Curious how you guys are cleaning your pads…

cotton pads used for encap. I use to throw them in my washer a couple of times but after seeing what would float on top of the water and the jobs I'd pad, no way that filth is going near my washer ever again. I throw a few coins in the local laundry mat, bleach, dollar store detergent and wash away. Best part, the attendance takes them out when finish, tosses them in the dryer then folds them when done drying. I go back to pick them up a few hours later on my way to or from. Cadillac service for a couple bucks tip.

Depends. Normal soiling, I toss them into the washing machine.

Pee or worse, I toss them into a plastic muck bucket to soak with disinfectant, then wash them that evening.

Since I CRB (with recovery) every job, there is not a lot of hair or clotty debris in the pads. You might say they are polishing off the job. Here is what typically comes up in the DP-420, per room.

We have a dedicated washer and dryer for rags and bonnets.

OSR and extreme clean usually does the trick.

And I don't bonnet clean pissy crappy jobs.

That is a mild sample. The CRB you guys use is much more agile than mine, but mine can recover water and slops. This is a bit more typical of a residential scrub.

That's one of the things I like about microfiber - it's easier to clean the bonnets. We normally just rinse out the MicroBeast and MicroGlide bonnets. Giving them a good rinse by hand is generally all they need. The dirt releases pretty easy from the microfiber.

Cannot beat a good old style large commercial frontload washer in a laundromat.
Not a newer water saving style. The older ones that have a prewash, wash and 3 rinses.

You can fit quite a few pads in a 50 pound washer for about 6 bucks
