Do you guys buy the shelves from your supplier?

Build your own?

Or order from a place that sells the parts and custom build it for your needs?

If the last, where is a good place to buy the parts for the shelving units? How hardy and durable are they?

Thanks
Ofer

When I first started, I built my own. I've used wood on one set and metal do it yourself a second time. I found out that I'm not good at building shelves. I just buy shelves from my distributor.

My friend was going to help me make my own shelves. He knows how to weld and it would have been easy work to get 1" or less box tubing and cutting and welding them together. You'd be able to custom it to your likings without the custom price tag. However, I came across the Mytee shelves and just bought them. Worked out either way for me. There's no other sources of shevles for me to choose from locally. :x

Here are some that I made for an astro van a few years ago... The vans motor is blown up, so it sits in the garage and is used for storage. (its a mess) :)
