Is there software that you guys use to set up a customer database? Something that will make emailing them easy and somewhat automated. Maybe even something that will print up address labels.

If you are not looking for something fancy or something that will cost you an arm and a leg , check out Ultimate Mail Manager or something like that at staples for around $39.99 . I have an old version of the program and keep my customer base on it , you can email , print labels , set up groups (commercial / Residential) with it.

Now that I'm typing about it I think it's call "My Mail Manager"

Mistral handles all that. Handles all my quotes and invoices, tracks income and last cleaning, make up whatever I need for mail merge.

Other invoicing software is out there as well.

I've said it before
Use Quickbooks Pro.
It keeps all your customers info..you can fax and email right from the program.
Plus it is awsome for accounting purposes.
P&L statements etc.

I can track vehicle mileage, keep track of all payments and income.

Pretty simple to learn but have a good CPA give you some advice.

It also has some programs (extra cost) like customer manager that goes even further with a scheduling screen and picture files etc.

Best investment I have made in my business.

You can import info from other programs but not sure about camelot. Your accountant should be able to tell you.

I imported everything from Quicken and My mail list years ago with ease really.

It's all about 1's and 0's baby. I'm sure you could make it happen.

Mikey, you really need to set an example for your deciples....Camelot? Really? Come on now.

I use Quickbooks for daily emails or follow ups or maybe invoicing.

I use another company all together for blasts. Constant contact is pretty good. I am getting ready to try a local guy who seems to have a pretty good product for email.

The Customer Manager add on for Quickbooks is pretty cool but I havn't mastered it yet. There is a free trial if you have QuickBooks already...just go to Intuit.
