That one's bad, but some PB are even worse with full skirting and fabric all over about twice a baggy as that. They market it as you can take it off and wash it but people seldom do after they've tried to do it once before...it's a project. Cleaning these sucks.

When they call the fabric 100% Turkish cotton I immediately think... So is it cotton or something else?
Or does Turkish cotton mean the cotton is going to brown/yellow like the old Tahitian/Haitian cottons. Is there viscose blended in there.
I see a lot of the Sunbrella for indoor furniture also from Pottery Barn.
Upholstery cleaning can get exciting very quickly...and not in a good way.

When I do upholstery, especially the slip covers, I use a hose cuff with 4 - 5/16th holes drilled in it so it does not over-suck - controlled air leak.

Try it.

The whitening was already there.

Mikey, you should do seminars for local designers on practical yet beautiful home furnishings. It seems like you could speak their language. Show rugs which wear well and clean up and then contrast with the viscose 6 month wonders. Maybe some will listen. You could also talk about protector its benefits and limitations.

The problem is- They push the "viscose 6 month wonders" at $6,000.00 per
And we are the ones who have to deal with their clients' expectations and break the news.

honestly I could just do away with upholstery cleaning altogether... its a great add on but there is nothing I hate more than a huge sectional with loose baggy fabric like that and 30 cushions.

its also the one thing the techs complain about, you can put them on a 12 room home with tile but if there is a couple sectionals in their day your going to hear about it lol
