I have a couch to clean tomorrow (synthetic fiber) that a toddler smeared Desitin on in small areas. I’m reasonably confident I’ll be able to remove the Desitin, but I’m certainly open for cleaning suggestions. Success or horror stories are likewise invited. Thanks!

Desiring contains zinc oxide which can cause bleaching of fabrics. It is also designed to resist moisture. The only remedies I have seen involve baking soda and alcohol. Hitting it with hot water may accelerate the bleach effects. Don't let her problem become your problem. PM Jim Pemberton before proceeding.
