You can put a two inch tube on that wand. Can’t widen the manifold though.
Excellent point

I have a spare two inch tube with a swivel fitting that is too long it was made for my gargantuan size.. if Dayton wants to take it to a titanium welder and have them shorten it I would consider a trade for shipping costs and a heartfelt apology...

2 inch tube on the 12 inch head with effectively make it to the most powerful carpet cleaning wand in the galaxy

Apologies, I didn’t mean to be a whiny little bitch yesterday. My life can be pretty dynamic, so I got bitchy yesterday for no reason.

Takes a big man to apologize, so everybody STFU and help me get a 2 inch tube on my 12 inch devastator. That would be bad ass.

Thanks in advance, assholes.

2 inch is always going to give you better airflow. I find anything larger than 12 inches wide is awkward in homes. Great for commercial but not for residential. My biggest problem with 2 inch hose to the wand is the weight of the hose. I do have a lighter length of 2 inch hose that I use as a whip but it is prone to kinking. Love my mach 12, gives me pretty good dry times. It does tend to lock down on the carpet making it harder to push at times.

The problem with living in gods country is everyone is broke. So, pricing typically has to be value-added, not cheap, just value oriented. Some pretty good operators do lots of $25 per room cleanings, and the service is pretty damn good.

So, bottom line is I’m continuously trying to find a way to deliver really good results in a timely manner. That streaking job was probably a result of me going a bit too fast, which is unacceptable on my part, but I do have to keep my production rates pretty high.

I can handle going all 2 inch, if it speeds up my process via dry times at a measurable rate.

Why do you want 2” tube 12” head wand?
Get a 14” head

You may not think 2” makes a difference, but it certainly does if production is your thing .

20% more coverage ain’t chop liver .
