I have been maintaining some polished concrete with 3000 grit diamond pads on an auto scrubber and a propane buffer

put a denisifer in the auto scrubber, do a double scrub, soak pass and then a vacuum pass with the 3000 grit pad
if the floor has a little wear on it then I go over it first with a 2000 grit pad then go over it with the 3000
buff with propane buffer, with either a hogs hair or the 3000 grit pad

everytime I clean it, the shine seems to improve

it actually has more shine now then when it was first polished

Steve;

The floors look pretty good.

Are these the diamond pads you got from us ?

They are designed to improve the shine with continued usage.

The hi-speed propane buffer is a severe test.

We have gotten some good results on Terrazzo in a couple of large school jobs.

There are lots of concrete floors ....
that could use some polishing.

eventually only gonna clean it a 3 to 4 time per year so I think the densifier will be needed, was trying to get a good shine out of it right now

I done spent those pads Larry, cleaned a raw concrete floor with 80 and 100 grit screens with some densifier and impreginator. Then used your series of 4 pads to put some shine on it. Came out very well

these floors were done with Norton pads, fine and very fine grit, no need to go down to the 400 grit

Do you know how that floor was originaly polishied Steve?.

Densifier, I didn't know you could use it for cleaning. Can you say the name of youjr densifier and price?.

On another note, why is it that densifiers (at least the one I got) have a shelf life. I think it says something like 2 months. I bought a 5 gallon to practice some polishing. What's the deal with this?
