I've done a ton of encap work this week. Had to wash all my pads today. Since its 105 degrees I figured the driveway would dry them out fast.

I’ve only pulled the hoses a few times since getting the Odyssey.
Not only is it easier, the carpet looks better. I had another long-time customer last week text and ask me what I did different on her last cleaning.

I’d take that heat over my wet, 90 degree heat.

Plus good encaps work.
Take an ounce of dirty water and mix with a quarter ounce of diluted encap.
Let it dry down and you’ll see.

If someone truck mounted 1000ft2, then dried down the wastewater and weighed the dried soil. Then compared that to the weight of soil pad extracted by an OP machine into a microfiber in the same square footage side by side, what would the difference in weight of soil extracted be?
We may find that the pad wiped as much from the fibers as the traditional extraction does, in many instances. Trashed carpet and industrial settings would likely favor the truck mount obviously.

That pad definitely should’ve been changed way sooner.
I change pads more than I need to. Maybe 100 SF a side, sometimes more if it’s dirty.
