did you guys give a christmas bonus this year?

everyone equal or did some get more than others?
i just gave 200 cash to each employee in a card thanking them
for their hard work and dedication to the growth of the company
they loved it and thanked me back..i wish i could have done more
but something is better than nothing..

yes based on time and position and profit for the year. wish we could have given more but it was more then last year and our company party was at Flemings Steak house (thanks to costco for having $100 gift cards for $79)

All employees got a bonus. Ranged from $100 - $250 per.
Since we already do merit based bonuses monthly, I don't go overboard for the holiday.

I always to stuff for Christmas. The year dictates how much.

Last year was a really good year and they all got the biggest bonuses they ever have, plus a full restaurant dinner for all staff and their spouses.

This year was a bit leaner, so we did things differently to save a few quid. They understand that, and appreciate that I still do something. A smaller bonus and a simpler dinner.

This year we set up the BBQ at work, cleaned up all the vans/equipment/warehouse during the morning and then had a BBQ lunch, all staff, spouses and kids were invited and it worked well.

Appreciation is an attitude and not just a dollar value.
