I just vacuum with the edge tool and the vac powered attachment on the Shark until nothing further pulls out. If I have to do em 3 times, so be it.

Is the hand scrubber more effective than that?

I’m $4.50 now, was $3.50 last summer and for years. Might go to 5.50 just because, why not? They ain’t afraid to spend money on everything else, why not an extra $10 or $15 every decade on having the stairs cleaned?
