I asked God to overwhelm me and he's never failed.
I should have my hands full tomorrow and for the month of March

But I'm going to Mikefest if it kills me. shiteatinggrin

I'll be running 5 routes but they won't be full at first because I need to see how it goes....and I need room for the regular customers. Thank you Full Circle.

I may not be running a route myself because I may be suited better for a backup etc. and pre-inspections maybe.

Plus, Groupon said "Steam" ...bastards! lol

I'm not sure I'll be able to sleep tonight.

Good luck Brian, I'll be more intersted in the final numbers than the inital bookings.

The way your sweatshop is set-up, personally you can't lose

That is not even such a great deal in detroit- companies are routinely offering 6 areas for $84.99 here. We are actually on the higher end at 4 rooms for 99.99

The guy who operates the Ford Transit connect really loves it Richard, a big step up sizewise from the PT Cruiser he was in. He is one of our on the road Chemists, and he is also doing some hard surface florr cleaning now so it gave him the room to carry all his equipment.

Wish they made a bigger heavy duty one I could use for carpet cleaning.

A sprinter won't fit in my garage.

2 Bought....and 2 emails and 3 voicemails. lol

I'm swamped!!!

Just a couple people calling to schedule who didn't buy yet.
1 person called about cleaing a shower. "is the deal good for that?" She said.

They did the deal as a side deal on the Groupon email. I was afraid of that.

Oh well...maybe I'll get a few jobs.

Edit: Now 4 bought

Just sold 20 and that was the minimum amount so "the deal is on"

That's 1000 bucks before I even do the jobs so that's cool.

up to 33 sold so far...I will be happy with 300

Some jobs are scheduled for next week ...and about about 1/4 of them have stairs (upsell) and I've got one tile job scheduled.

My website has over 500 hits on it so far today....but they are not all unique hits...I'll get into my program for that later.

If I just do the jobs as Groupon myself that's $1650.00 to start.

Yeah, me too.

They said up front that it "could" be the side deal.

They said "if we didn't do the side deals, we wouldn't be able to fit everyone in anyway"

Makes sense.

Padden,
I will jump in here and answer for Swamped Brian.

Normally the cost of running this ad is 1/2 of the coupon sale price.

The customer has to pay for the coupon up front.

If groupon sells 10 of these $99 coupons then the cost will be $500 for the ad. If they sell 100 then the cost of the ad is $5000.

The Customer presents the coupon to you when you do the job and you get a list of buyers names. If you sell the required minimum then the job is on.

What would $5000 buy in other advertizing media? It would surely send out a lot of mailers.

5K would give me 30 years of internet advertising.

Or 2 years of monthly mailings to clients

Or 90 years of marketing to local referral centers.

Then again doing nothing doesn't produce crapo.

At least he is doing something.

Thanks Rick.

The issue is ...spending $5000 of your own money is a gamble AND you may not have it....With Groupon it's as close to guaranteed as you can get AND it's no money directly out of your pocket as a whole...but I understand there are expenses with each job.

It used to be guaranteed until they changed the way they redeem the Groupons.

Anyway, for that $5000 I should be able to produce $20,000....but I'll wait till the end of March to call it a success or not.
Even though I will see these customers as far as 6 months out and it's a year before it expires.

We're up to about 60 sold...I did 98 over a year ago with Groupon (where I had done about $20,000.00...not including the repeats I've been doing lately).

Hope that helps.

20K, I thought 60 jobs was going to give you $600 guaranteed.

Just my prediction. If I do the jobs myself right now I will get $3000.00

But most of the jobs scheduled right now have more than what the Groupon covers.

So I'm up already. lol

Edit: If I were to just let the subs clean I would get $600
