Anybody remember at this time(x-mas) last year most distys were having huge sales on TM's.

I remember seeing an ad from(I beleive) Magic Wand giving thousands off every new truckmount. Pretty sure one ad(maybe interlink) had 2k off a peak(prochem). I recall thinking to myself... Guess I need to start buying tm's at x-mas time.

This year nothing..... So, Distys, manufacturers and suppliers how's your year been? I know I've spent more at my distys this year.


Who knows, maybe last year was just a once in a while thing. Older units?

I think it's driven by excess inventory.

With extra TM's in inventory, the specials are more numerous.

And some manufacturers raise prices and then give a discount temporarily.

I think there has been an ongoing special on that unit...for the past 13 years or so.

I don't know about you guys but I got $1500 off interlink financial
Free tm installation into a blank van
the accessories (water pond) installed for free with a tm purchase.
etc..

Wow.. that's a Good price IMO!!
But I think the big Machines scare alot of guys on MB.
I don't need one at this time.

This has been the absolute best year we have had since 9-11, hands down. Of course last year was the start of the build up to 2015. However, we have been very, very blessed and have a very good following.

Its been average. For us I have been careful not to over stock. Does us no good to over stock then have to discount it at no profit it to get it off the books. Sure its nice for you guys when we screw up but keeping the lights on is costing us more and more so I am sure everyone else is paying a lot closer attention to inventory as well. I am currently running a Christmas special just for you guys. It is not advertised any place else. It is just a Christmas present to the greatest people in our industry
