how much do u charge the client?

when u apply the product, is it one coat? or do u come back the following day and do 2 or 3 coats?

Depending on the level of gloss and the protection desired, you can apply one or two coats. Most techs use two thin coats. Any more than two is unncecessary and may not adhere well.

The time between coats is usually an hour or less, although it will vary with temperature and humidity. No need to come back on a later day. You can be puting machine away or doing other taks while the finish dries. On large areas, the place you started may be nearly dry by the time you finish.

The Bridgepoint system can be used with any rotary machine or a Cimex. You may have to look around for the right sized pads for the Cimex.

I use the Bridgepoint system too, I like it overall, I turn many down due to bare spots though, apparantly it won't adhere

i have done lots of floors, it makes up nearly 50% of my business. i was just wondering who else has used the bridgepoint system as i have only used it once and it did not work as well as i had hoped. but i will try it again. i bought a case of the finsish and 3 gal of the cleaner and so on and so forth.

Any of you do complete refinishing also? there is no one near me that does this and i would like to know what other things are new in the industry as for as refinishing floors goes.

I used chemspecs wood solv and it did not adhere. Peeled up like a banana. Followed direction to the tee. Absolutely the worst shit in the world. Good thing it was my wifes dance studio. Know I have to sand the floor to fix.
