or something to keep the hoses off of grass? I order them neatly when I setup a job but then I walk out to the truck and they are all over the place. Once I get my new heat exchanger installed I am concerned I'll walk outside to discover burnt lines of dead grass across people's yards...

I personally don't have any on my van but they're on my list for my next wanders order. I live in the country and dont run into manicured lawns as as some cleaners do. When i do i at this point lay out 50 exrta feet of soulition hose. Where i live believe it or not alot of multi million dollar homes have gravel driveways but there are those times where a couple of sets of these would come in handy. But i would think you still have to be sure that the slight pulse of the pump doesn't make the hose sag and still burn the grass. I did however many years ago loose a good customer because i burnt a bright yellow strip down there brand new sod lawn

Once I get my new heat exchanger I think I will be between 230 and 240. I'm surprised how hot the Salsa/blower exhaust heat exchanger gets the water. They say it only adds like 40 degrees but it seems like way more than that, It's piping hot, to me anyways. Seems like it will be scary hot when I get the new heat exchanger in.

I've already noticed a few spots we've been at where we'd have to cut the heat once it is fully functional because there would be no way to avoid laying solution line on the grass. Those stakes look sweet. I'll keep em in mind!

Your real problem with your hot hoses will be those squiggly black lines on an asphalt parking lot. Your hoses will melt that asphalt and it’ll melt on your hose. And if you bring that mess in a home, it’ll burn itself on the carpet/floor. That’s a real problem

I owned a Vortex for a couple of years. It would reach 240 +. In every way imaginable 240 is too hot. I kept mine turned down to 230 but learned shortly before selling it that anything over 220 is just a waste.

Maybe I should just stick with my salsa heat exchanger and keep my chemistry and dwell time dialed in. Seems like it will make life simpler. I bet hoses and fittings last way longer too.

Yes for the main heat exchanger. I have it disconnected and bypassed right now though while I'm waiting on someone to make me a new heat exchanger.

I never used yard sticks but have been known to slide the solution line down a 50 footer of vacuum hose for protection.
Works great here in the Northeast in the winter also.
