Have you used the Hydro-Force Revolution Injection Sprayer?
The one with the adjustable ratio dial (not the old different size tips).
Does it work?
Does it maintain the same ratios at different pressure level?

Thanks for the input.

Not for me.

I tried to make two of them work right. Very inconsistant draw. They have been on the shelf for past 5 years.

I prefer a Multi-Sprayer or even a pump-up so I know exactly what I am putting down.

Ahhhhhhh, the memories, the old Hydro-Force Revolution Injection Sprayer.

What do you people mean, "they don't work".

Of course they work.

They just don't work accurately, that's all.

I thought it was the bee all and end all when they came on the market so many years ago with so much fanfare and hoohaa.

End up for me as boo hoo and boo hoo.

So I went back to the old reliable HF with the tips, and the bottle that fell over, and had to be dismantled before you could re-fill it.

A couple of years ago I got a Spray Master, man what a difference this piece is.

I actually bought an extra bottle just in case but have never needed it.

Just the day before yesterday, I had to replace the two "o" rings on the solution line.

I bought 6 for $2.00    at a local bearing joint that was open on a Saturday.

Top of the line unit in my opinion.

Ooroo,

PS: The nozzle shaft on the Spray Master took some getting used to, all of one room.

PPS: Sorry Fred, I just buy el cheapo plastic garden sprayers from the local hardware store. I've been down the road of ss sprayers, different tips and all that, only to find that they are expensive to repair when needed & it takes days to get the parts where I am.

What is the best pump up sprayer and tip?

Thanks

I have a couple of Hydra-Force steel sprayers, but the best value, and the one I use most (besides my Multi-Sprayer) is their "Country's Best Sprayer" heavy-duty plastic 3-gallon model with the brass wand and jet. Get at least a #10 jet for prespray.

we used one years ago.
It was actually better than the regular HF we had...at least it drew juice all the time.
Though as Shorty pointed out, not accuratel.....,so you can't count on the dial to calibrate ratio

pressure and sol temps will effect their draw rates (same for the regular HF too, BTW)

Fred, a decent pump up is Solo brand.
It's sold at HD, Lowes, etc.
They have a large pump cylinder (which means you don't to have pump a million times to pressurize)
It's a durable well make pump cylinder, also has viton seals thru-out
another thing I like about them (besides the price) is a couple models come with a plastic teejet tip .
IMO the cone jet spray tips are JUNK if you want even coverage.

BTW, the all plastic teejet that comes with them is "OK" and still MUCH better than any cone jet.
But it is replaceable with any teejet, which you can buy at a well stocked cleaning disty or just go to TCS
(if you have those farm supply stores in yur 'hood)
and buy the plastic teejet w/stainless orifice insert...or all brass teeJ...they'll have both on the shelf in every flow rate

ever bucket tested one, Joe?

Measure precisely what juice you put in the jug, then spray a gal into a bucket
Measure what's left in the jug.
then you calculate what dilution it really fed

try it at different ratios on the dial and see how close it is to what the dial says

then test at different psi (if you change psi for some jobs like we do)
test it at different sol temps too.
The higher the sol temps, the less it draws (same for the regular HF too)
None draw when temps get into the 180 to 200 range
