Does this VLM tool exist?

Looking for another low moisture tool, I would like to have something not too large or heavy, either a rotary or crb type... the kicker, I want to hook it to either a TM or porty for vac and use a high foaming shampoo, kind of hybrid system that will suck up the crud and dry in 30 minutes.

Does anything like this exist? Ideas? Suggestions?

I suppose you could get an old chemstractor , one of the newer designed ones and hook a TM hose up to it.

I had an old model chemstractor... I had considered making a vacuum ring to go around a 2 speed buffer or the taski foaming machine

The new chemstractor is too damn big to be practical I think

Why not just bonnet clean with a 175/300 buffer?

If you're going to do that, might as well just get a VonSchrader... Running a truckmount while hooked up to a VS type machine doesn't make sense. Waste of money.

I have never gotten what I would call great results from any VLM method, the CRB kicks up all kinds of crud, bonnet cleaning just seems sad and dealing with all the bonnets is a pain.

Thought about a VS but don't they only have a single brush? How strong a vac do they have?

Yes, single brush and a weak little vac to pick up the foam. It is not designed to extract like we do with wands and other extracting tools while almost locking on to the carpet. It is supposed to just lift the foam away from the carpet and while it sucks it, it also pulls diluted defoamer from a small container below the "waste tank". And that defoamer breaks it down into the dirty liquid in the "waste tank".

A dry (mostly) foam machine using either CRB or a rotary connected to a reasonable vac source - could even be a porty. I was thinking TM because I have them. Would only have to run in a vac hose and plug up your machine in the house. I prefer the foam for a big show, some of the shampoo products you can hardly even see. The foam carries the soil load, the machine provides the agitation, and the TM extracts the crud. It doesn't seem overly complicated, no worse than carrying in an RX20, using a lot less water, and drying super fast. You wouldnt need a beast TM to do the job either since you wouldnt be extracting tens of gallons of water.

Like I said, call me crazy, but I think a hybrid system would be interesting to see.

You could rig a wand to the front of the taski or have a helper follow right behind dry vacing,

Or under jet your wand like use a quad jet with .05 making your flow around 2 then you could add a quick mist rinse and still get wicked dry times.

Of course I use my 12 flow wand and drop an airpath, dry to the touch in 20 minutes.

What about that wand that Powerflight makes? It has a brush under it to agitate. Not sure you can make foam with it.I always thought it looked like a good idea but some guys say it's made cheaply like most of their stuff. I think Chavez had one at one time??

I have one like it, made in the 80's I think, built like a tank but I have never gotten it out to play with it. It also only has a single brush.

If I had a RV 360, would it be possible to pad and extract at the same time? I'm not real familiar with the setup.

You'd need the tile ring to go around the tool... And the bonnet attachment to hold the bonnet.... It'd be a pain in the ass if you ask me.... I tried the RV360i tile attachment.... I would ASSume the ring wouldn't float on the carpet and it'd just "lock down" to it.... Don't let me stop you though, if it works for you, more power to you!
