Dog dump Smartstrand

People are amazing. These people complained about spots not coming out of their Smartstrand. So, the retailer paid us to go out and "see if we could clean it".

It was full of dog piss stains!

My boy came out with the dog piss treatment and I told him to wait. I wanted to see if it would clean with SS and extraction.

I figured it would, and it did.

I just can't figure out why it was the retailers problem?

The retailor has either been threatend with a bad review, a law suit of the customer has other homes and has bought from them more than once

They just couldn't figure out how the dog pissing on the carpet results in stains. Dog piiss should be evaporating mid air or something

Manufacturers are starting to warranty against ANY spotting. We just turned down a job from Stainmaster corporate (too many hoops to jump through, not enough $$) for a install not even a year old with pet "stains". It was covered under their warranty.

Smartstrand is very stain resistant.

Because it obviously wasn't the homeowners fault.

I had a job once from a retailer with a very upset customer, his brand new carpet had spots all over from the installers, ok I cleaned it, got all but one spot along the back wall of the closet out. Got called back the next day because the spots were back and he is really mad. So I go back out and recleaned the carpet. I finish up and as we are talking in the room, in comes the dog from outside leaving footprints across the entire carpet. I didn't say anything too him but never had to go back.
