Are you referring to Shane’s video about calling plumbers telling them you have a leak just to get them out there to find out who the owner is so you can harass them?

When I was in my twenties, I attended all sorts of sales and marketing classes.

They often had these "great ideas" that included manipulative techniques, snarky comebacks to legitimate objections, etc.

Those I was dumb enough to try ended up backfiring in my face.

Now when crap like that is tried on me by wet behind the ears salespeople, I ask them what class taught them that before the line disconnects or I walk them out of my door.

I see it as my way of paying forward in the way I was "taught" by less than tolerant, cranky old men then.
