This is my number one battle lately. You are smart getting a picture and I think I will start doing the same. This is a perfect example of a simple improvement to not have a negative vibe after being stung with a 'misunderstanding" upon arrival. Everything is relative and thats the problem.

Carpet Cleaner: “Oh just an oil change and look it over”
Me: “OK. Is there anything specific that you’d like us to look for (I know where this is going...)”
Carpet Cleaner: “Yeah, well there is water spraying in the truck and I’m losing heat and water pressure”
Me: “Do you know where the water is coming from.”
Carpet Cleaner: “Well from all over the place....see I left it out last night and it sort of froze...”

I ask all the time. Including carpets. Saves time. Helps to $ize up upholstery and gives you a good idea of what you are up against.
