Had to improvise today for the heavy rain we were getting. Didn't want to shut down, didn't want to turn van around. Rain was 45* angle. Had to protect the Thermalwave Vortec.

Ron and Bonnie Hunkins take note......design a useful canvas cover/tent that will mount to the van doors or stay put with magnets.

It rains hard here almost everyday during the summer. Sometimes it comes with squalls that rip out branches. Every machine I've had has gotten soaked. Over and over again. It doesn't seem to bother them at all. Plenty of guys have pressure washers right out in the open along with welders. Even the lawn trailers here which are plentiful have riding lawnmowers right out in the open. There are those that do trailer but it's more for security at night. I've never worried about it. It helps cool the air.

Gene.....My TM has been soaked a few times. This Thermalwave has so much in computer systems that I just don't want to take a chance of soaking or shorting out a circuit.
